Well, I've heard the Greddy Type S.. and it sounds really nice (i just bought it.. can't wait to install it.) I've also heard the HKS SS (on my friend's DRAG 3 GSR) and it sounds nice only in boost.. but a nice high pitch whistle. Another friend of mine has the Turbo XS Type H-RFL (real ****** loud) and it sounds loud at 7psi. Definitely a head turner. I'd get the one you can find a better deal on.

I have an apex BOV that I got from a guy at a good price, I havent installed it yet, just wanted to know if it is a good BOV before I go through with it. I want to know if it works good, but if it sounds good too then that is a plus. I dont know the model or anything but it has a thing on the middle that you can turn, im guessing it adjusts the pitch?

My stock BOV worked,but it didn't really make any sounds. But it also wasn't as good as the aftermarket units.
Of course people are going to care what it sounds like. What if it makes a farting noise? (Yes,I heard one that did.)

I don't agree. Alot of people enjoy the sounds their cars make including me.
