The first axles I used were some crap Felpro OEM replacment axles. The passenger side inner CV joint went after a few months. So I bought some Avid axles that are supposed to handle 250whp. After about 2 months the same CV joint has broken again. I know for a fact that Im not making close to 250whp (b16 with bolt ons) so I don't think the axles were over-powered.
I'm just trying to figure out what in the heck would be causing the joint to break. I have JimFab lower engine mounts, but the upper mounts are stock. The car is also lowered on Omnipowers.

you might have to try to mix and match differnt honda cv axels, the axels need to have the right angles and lengths or they will cause them to snap, i had this problem on a 97 hb with an h22 swap and went through 4 pairs before i figured it out. chrck out hasport.com, a little expensive but the make the right axels for swaps and they are pretty durable, or you can go to pepboys and buy axels they have a lifetime warranty, so at least if you snap em, you get new ones for free

I have a feeling it has to do with my rear mount. When I did the swap, they didnt send the proper mount. My buddy took the mount they sent and my stock mount and make a new one. Wouldn't be surprised if it was doing it.
