thermometer gauge not reading? why?
Bad grounds are usually the problem.
Have fun tracing all of them.
There's a simple trick. If you hook up the green/yellow wire from the sensor to a ground, and the temp gauge shoots up...you've got work to do on the grounds.

There are so many possibilities. Problems include:
1. Faulty sensor
2. Disconnected sensor
3. Faulty gauge
4. Wiring problems between the sensor and gauge
5. Fuse for gauges is blown
6. Bad ground
7. Wiring problem from battery
