i hope you mean valve cover gasket. b/c oil is leaking from the head gasket...you got a much bigger problem.

Headgaskets are quite a bit more costly than valve cover gaskets. Installation is quite a bit more costly as well.

Don't forget to have the head resurfaced and properly clean the block mating surface. It's also not a wise idea to reuse your original headbolts so an investment in a new set is a good idea.

Yea, double check to see if it's the o-ring at the dizzy and the end-plug cap. If everything's clear there then take your wallet out of your pocket and just give the whole thing to your mechanic

umm.....? if you have a turbo and what not..,.i doubt it

Unbolt downpipe/exhaust from downpipe.
Unbolt charge piping from turbo
Unbolt turbo manifold (to get it out of the way, your probally going to want to do the oil feed and return lines too)
Unplug all wires and sensors going to head.
Drain fuel rail/release fuel pressure
Pull valve cover
loosen timing belt (mark current locations) etc etc.....it's deff more than 30 minutes.

thats VERY common when the wrong head gasket is used. what motor and head? this is extremely common with ls/vtec if the wrong gasket is used. right in that corner the head gasket is smaller than the return inside the head so the oil builds up there. its not going to cause problems, but you will need to watch your oil all the time. when you get a new head gasket, just make sure you get the right one.
