b16a1 block bored out to 85mm..whats the perfect head?
**** don't even match the combustion chambers, you'll lose compression and it's not really necessary. I have an 85mm b16 and i decided to the leave the stock combustion chamber size.
I have the perfect head for you. I'm selling my race prep GSR head. 1mm over intake, .5mm over exhaust, 5 degree angle job, ferrara stainless steel flat face valves, ferrara dual valve springs and retainers. blow job, the combustion chamber is bore out to 84mm. the head was also milded. pm me if interested

It depends on what you want to do with it ????? Are you going BOOST or are you going ALL MOTOR ????? If your going boost then B16a1 is the way to go or Type-R due to lower compression ratios. But if your going all motor then GSR is the way to go due to the fact that head will bring up your compression ratio to your advantage. And the Type-R is good also because that head is ported and polished from the factory.... And reguardless of wich head you use you'll need to get a custom head gasket to match the 85mm bore. " COMETIC ". Plus you'll need to open up the valve area on the head to match the 85mm on the block also, so that means more machine work..... And adjust the head gasket accordingly to what ever you decide BOOST or ALL MOTOR ????? For clearance and compression purposes of course.
Hopefully this will help you in your LITTLE delima ?????
