The bushings is not the issue. The bearings on the short shifter is what is causing the rattling sound. I use to have B&M SS. It requires you to reuse the stock bearings which are a little smaller. That is what is causing the rattling sound.
When I switched to the Skunk2 with it's own sealed bearings. The rattling sound is gone.

thanks for the imput the ractive one that i replaced the b&m with has sealed bearings and it does not do it all the time only when down shifting and high acceleration /

reactive still isn't a quality part to begin with. They are like APC
BTW not all sealed bearings on SS & short shifter themselves are built equally.

I have a B&M shifter and get the same annoying rattle. Anyone figured out how to fix it without just getting a different shifter? By the way it's on a DA integra.
