Default Need Help Please, head gasket leak.....AGAIN!!

I took my car to the shop to fix a head gasket leak and got it installed, when I got it back it idled like ****...from 600 down to 100 rpm and almost dies.
And I just check under the oil cap and it's milky again?? wassup with that.

I just bought a new OEM gasket and it's milky again.
It's throwing a CEL 6..ECT code.

Any advice anybody??

Was your car overheated recently? Could have a warped head on your hands. The shop should have checked for this. Lets hope its not something worst like a cracked cylinder.

it never over heated, how do you know if it's a warped head?
Is it fixible and what causes it?

to check if its warped you have to take the head off and run a straight edge over it. did the shop resurface the head before the install? if it is warped you might be able to just get it resurfaced if its not warped too bad. hope that helps.

Check your dipstick to see if the oil is milky too, because sometimes the assembly lube used on the cam is white and when mixed with the oil it looks milky like coolant mixed with it.

What is your head/block setup and which head gasket did you use?

I used new oem head gasket.
