I recently got a jdm eg9 front bumper w/ fogs and was wondering what this little circle thing is? a sensor of some sort or what?

It's not a bumper pole, it's on both side's of the bumper, doesn't bumper poles have antenna's coming out of it?, this doesn't have anything but a wire going to it connected to the fog lights

yea np . i just hate when the wrong info is put down..no offensive to the other folks.. i had a clear dealer option book and i showed some other folks what it looked like and the cost but i deleted from wetodd..

the bumper pole sold brand new from the dealership for about $180.00
and the eletronic version that you had went for about $600.00 and far as i know it came with 4 sensors two front and two rear. (now youknow why the bumper poles are everywhere!!!)

i doubt you have the interior and all the wiring.. that would be nice if you could get that.... not too many of these around....

yea, it's a first I have ever seen anything like it, I traded my spoon vtec controller just for the jdm eg9 bumper w/ fogs and lip, all because I know it's a rare item.. I doubt I can get wiring and everything, only if I had a little more information about this option, I probably will try to get my hands on it.

yea see if you can. i cant recall what is needed but i know it should come with a small speaker like thingy, and like a control box of some sort. and it was an automatic thing. so nothing to push like the bumper pole . you just pulled next to something and it beeped. and then stoped as you went away from the source.

and im not sure where your sensor's were placed but in the catelog it shows it right at the corners of the bumpers at the top. and not like in the front or on the side. it was diagonally positioned.

haha I'll try to see if it works, I wonder is the sensor is still able to work, if I added a power source to it and a buzzer (don't know where it should be connected to) maybe it'll work, do you have any idea on how this option was installed inside the cabin and where it would be located?

nah sorry bud, i have no idea. i cant even really remember what all come with the kit...

all i know it was a constant on system. so when the car was running it would be always on. and when something came clost to it, it would either chime or buzz. and there are no buttons to push to turn it on and off... this may have been the reason why they didnt sell too many besides the actual price. i should have kept a copy of the brochure .. i sold it with a rare dealer brochure on ebay.

Thanks for all the information, I wouldn't even have a clue if it wasn't for you.. I'll look it up and see what I can find out, and if I do find out I'll let you know how I go about doing this install..
