I bought a 95 EJ1 without testing the horn and to my luck it doesn't work. The two buttons feel.... empty like there is nothing in them. I check in the front bumper and the horn is there but idk. Also, my srs light is on, my and my cruise control doesn't work. so idk if my whole steering wheel was unplugged or what the deal is. Any suggestions?

 

check the cruise control button take it off and see whats up cause i took out my cruise control and when i took out the switch and replaced it with the delete plastic it doesnt work. i looked in helms and the horn is wired through the cc button on the wheel. was the car wrecked?

 

did you check the fuses?

 

no wrecks or anything, i just bought it off some russian dude in Virginia, lol

 

maybe some one swaped wheels and didnt hook it back up right or the air bags could have even been deployed. like i said check the wiring in the wheel.

 

ok, i will have a friend check it out cuz i dont know much about electrical or wiring. i was also told you have to do something to turn the airbag off so it doesn't deploy.

 

just pry off the plastic cover over the cc switch and there are 2 small philips head screws to remove the switch just look to see it its even hooked up and check the wires.
