I searched and cannot find anything, and my manual (shitty pep boys one isnt much help), I have an 88 crx and I took out the two screws that are to the rear of the light, but now it wont come out. It has one tab I can see stuck in a piece of plastic that wont budge. Is there another screw that I am missing?

i tried that are they normally very tought to get off?

 

spray silicone on the plastic tabs by the headlight and put your palm on the lens and push forward, i sometimes have to kind of slap it to get it off, uh that kinda sounds weird oh well,

Thanks guys I had to pimp slap the **** out of it with a big screw driver but it came out.

 

I have another problem tho, the driver side corner light brackets look NOTHING like the passenger side. The driver side doesnt have the slots that the tabs of the corners go into, it just has one metal tab that gets in the way. Im kinda lost

pics?? Sounds like it may have been prev. broken?

 

yeah. it sounds like you have a 90-91 headlight bucket on the side with the one metal tab. the bracket there will screw off and change over, if the screws aren't too rusted.

 

ok thats what it looks like, this car is pissing me off, is that a diff year bracket? if so does anyone have the right year I can buy off of them? And also how to get this one off?

 

yeah, that is the 90-91 headlight bracket. they're not too hard to find, if it were me i'd just go to a junkyard.

 

i swear to god this car was so jimi rigged together, grrrrrrrrr, other than a junkyard where can I get this piece?
