Default clutch engagement adjustment?

Hey Guys-

Is there an adjustment for the point in the pedal travel that the clutch engages? It is engaging at the top right now, and it is a BRAND NEW CLUTCH (4 days old). I was wondering if the engagement can be adjusted down to the middle of the travel?

It is just really annoying in traffic, because I have to slip it a lot more. I want this clutch to last a while, so I was wondering if I could adjust the engagement to a lower point in the pedal travel.

thanks

John

Billman adjusted mine this way. Its right. The higher it engages on a hydrolic clutch, the lesss life you have left on the clutch.

what does the master tech say? My tech tells me the same thing and Ive bought 4 clutches between my last 2 cars, not because of clutch life though.
