I installed a new deck ---- Its a sony cd player from 1995.


My car has 175K on it.

Every morning (only occurs in the morning) when I go start my car, it wont turn on. It lights up and everything, but it wont crank. Is it my deck? After a while, it works and its fine after that. Only happends in the morning. It makes no sounds or anything.

Can my cd create conflicts with my starter etc...?

 

Do you have to jump start the car to get it running? If so you have 12volts to the cd all the time draining the battery. You should have a switched 12 volts and a constant 12 volts hooked to the deck.
