Will this manual boost controller allow me to build full boost earlier than just using my hks wastegate? The wastegate is not adjustable. I don't have the extra money to buy an electronic boost controller since I just got the turbo kit yesterday.

technically it will keep the wategate fully closed until full boost is reached. but im not running a boost controller and i don't hear the wastegate open til i hit full boost...so maybe it's just hearsay?

 

That's cuz it's always "leaking" a little bit. With the BC, it'll prevent the wastegate from seeing any boost until the desired level is reached. Or...this is what I've been led to believe. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.
