i dont know crap about knock sensors... where on the motor is it located, or if i have to put it in, where does it go?
with the p2t and p2p ecu in could not having a knock sensor make the car bog, and have really low idle. also when i gas it it doesnt catch. but when i plug my p2e non vtec ecu in its fine...
also what kind of knock sensor do i need?
and from what cars do i get them from?
thanks

The knock sensor is making you car go into limp mode which causes all your problems you explained. It looks like a large bolt, with a plug on one end and the other end has threads to screw into your block. On the y7 block look right under the intake manifold and there is a unused threaded hole. That is where the knock sensor goes. You can use a knock sensor from and obd2 block such as the d16y8 and b16a2.
