Default CRX Intake

Ok I am losing my f**king mind here!!!
I have been searching and searching for an intake that is NOT a cold air intake that will work with my '89 CRX Si with a B16A swap. I need a definitive answer, please don't reply saying "well i think b-series intakes will work" cause I already have one and it doesn't work!!! I have read about the AEM Hybrid intake for swaps, but from what several sites say they are cold air intakes, I want one that stays in the engine bay.

Please can someone tell what intake will work? Please have a specific answer (For Example: AEM intake for a 94 Del Sol VTEC), I know that every CRX out there with a b16a swap can't have a custom intake.

Here is a link to a site that has My Engine bay so you can see what it looks like. I have been told by other Honda tech Members that the battery is in the right location, I am not interested in relocating.

Thanks for your time,

use any short ram intake for a CRX. you might have to cut it a little bit to fit. i had to trim a few inches on the manifold side of it to fit my Z6 swap. i doubt you'll be able to find anything that you won't have to modify a little.--get creative

arospeed sells random pipes, like custom ones, they got all shapes and sizes. At least the shop i used to help out at did. and their ment to be intake piping, not just random piping. So if there are any arospeed shops near u go check it out and see if they have any.

I think I may found somthing:
http://www.burnsstainless.com

I think this will work perfect for a custom application, and will require me to do nothing more than just order the pieces to spec.

Can anyone tell what the diameter of the B16A throttle body opening is on the intake end?

Does anyone know if the AEM intake pipe is 3" in diameter? (I wanna say I saw that somwhere)

Go to advance auto and order an intake for a 88-91 civic or crx its 3 inch id, with a good filter, and will fit your engine bay fine.

If you want to leaave it there (the battery) then all you can do is get an 88-91 EF intake, they would all still fit with minimal work. Move the battery and get any intake you want.
