when does the membership expire?
is autox held all year round?

You don't need a points card right now, unless you're going to go into club racing.

Auto-x is held year round if weather permits. (should be year round in Cali)

Remove your AEM so you can race in stock class.

Mmm...speedfreakz. The best thing i ever put my money into.

AutoX is held all year round in SoCal. http://www.solo2.com ( click on events )
Im thinking about getting a points card to help with the days that have a lot of people (eg. last autoX where at 11Am, they didnt let anymore people enter unless they had a points card. )
When u get a points card, you have to pick a club/team.

Stock class is fun... but, DO NOT SOLOII dictate how you modify your car. (unless you want to make a career out of it.) It's all about the fun and just run whatever you got in it.

FYI, I believe AEM will bump you into Street Modified class. DStock will allow for exhaust, shocks and R-compound tires... and no, you can't gut your car.

Azenis is ok to run in any class AFAIK. It's really the size of the rims that will bump you from DStock class than anything else.

http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/index.shtml

AEM bumps you to the new STX. You can even use DOT R tires in the stock classes (but not in STS/STX) so Azenis (tread wear 200 > 140 STS/STX limit) are allowed for both STX and D-stock but you'll be under-tired in stock. There might also be novice classes in your area.
