Default Brembo, Get the Blanks, or get the cross drilled????

Can anyone tell me the advantage to have cross drilled rotors, over just getting the brembo blanks?

Will it actually do me good as a daily driver? or is it just wasted money, any info would be greatly appreciated.

You really should try a search--you may get flamed! (this topic has been broached many times before) I myself looked it up because I had to make the same decision.

You'll find most people will recommend the blanks, which I got as well. drilled and slotted don't offer much more of an advantage and some places won't resurface those.

I would agree. If you take a look at Import RP's thread about crossdrill/slotted.....nowadays brake friction (pads) have better materials and don't produce the gasses that "need" Xdrills to expel. I'm going w/ the blanks and plus, Brembo will not recognize any modified brembo rotor....unless you pay THEM big bucks for them to drill/slot them.

Get the GT big brake kit

Seriously though I have heard the blanks are better. The drilled are just sexier though

anyone know any national chain who WILL resurface crossdrill/ slotted? I have modified Brembo's and they were amazing at first, but they eventually got warped so now they shake like a beeeeotch! And while I'm askin'...what's the best way to keep your pads from dragging? I seem to keep having this problem no matter what I do...New rotors, pads, wheel bearings, caliper, caliper brackets, clips...f*** every thing is new!!! And they still drag.
