so yeah im planing on buying another crx becuase i wrecked mine, i found one but the vin that you can see on the dash is not in tack it broke off or the owner broke it off is there and numbers are visible and it matched with the registration and firwall and by the door .... what do you think i can do, becuase cops will **** with you if they dont see that , its a clean body too i really want it if any help thanks

 

rip the vin off the dash and tell the cops that this is a dash from a different car and to look at the vin on the door and on the firewall...

If the VIN plate from the dash is still available just bolt it back to the dash. If not just do what crxgator said.
