im doing a swap this weekend and wanted to get this out of the way, i tried searching for almost an hour and didnt come up with any solid info.

but a customer of mine is running on 3cyl's, he just wants to swap in another motor just to get moving, doesnt care about anything else. he has a 91 EF DX i believe, and i just did an lsvtec for a 93EG and have the sohc motor leftover, which of course is all odb1, but the cheapest route im trying to figure out is if i can swap in the 93 sohc but keep the odb0 dist and entire intake manifold that way no mpfi has to be done or computer swap which would be the cheapest for the owner!

anyone have any hard info if this has been done before. a friend of mines confirmed that everything should swap over but i need more facts!

 

I think the z6 vtec head is the only one with the weird distributor bolt position. so the rest should work.

you mean z6 vtec head?

 

both motors are non vtec
