s2s2 cams have 12.3mm of lift on the intake and 11.8 on exhaust, do not run itr valvetrain with those cams, spend 250 bucks on a valvetrain if you wanna run anything more aggressive than your avg. stage 1 cam, even then you would want err on the side of safety and upgrade if plan to rev higher than stock rev limit

IT'S WORTH GETTING VALVE VALVE TRAIN. BUT IF YOU DONT WANT TO GO THAT ROUTE THEN YOU SHOULD USE SKUNK2 STAGE 1 CAMS OR THE BLOX TYPE A CAMS....

its your car do whatever you want. but why would you ask for help and then not take the advise.
dont ask a question if you already have your mind made up.

I DONT HAVE A SET UP IN MIND. I JUST NEED ONE THAT WILL BE WELL ROUNDED TO MY BE A PERMANENT VALVETRAIN BUT STILL UPGRADE CAMS. WHAT WILL BE ABLE TO DO THAT? NO ONE SUGGESTED ME TO GET A CERTAIN BRAND OF VALVETRAIN AND THATS WHAT I NEED.

Like everyone said spend the extra money and get valve train and run what ever cams you want if money is an issue jus save up.
i just thought that all the valve train works the same therefore i thought why spend a lot just for a brand name when u can get another with the same specs for cheaper.
ill i got an offer for portflow inner spring and itr outter with ti retainer for 200 used. is that a good deal? will these be able to run skunk2 stg2-3 or jun2or3??

thats what i am trying to do BUT barely anyone is helping me.
At first i didnt want to buy any valvetrain, but now i guess its a must! help me find a vavletrain that will be capable of run different kinds of cams.

All i can say is that ive never heard ONE bad thing about omnpowers or Rockets valvetrain. Ill leave it at that.

everyone is trying to help you..its just not safe to run high lift cams on stock valvetrain...at least change the valve springs if u dont wanna redo the whole valvetrain..
also if ur b16 is a 1st gen..then u need to swap out the lmas to either gsr/itr/prelude with a shim...the first gen lma's were not made with a large enough tip for high lift cams...
i know u wanna build a fast motor for cheap but..NA is expensive get used to it
