Noob question - I just bought my first set of aftermarket wheels (16x7, +45 offset) and am seeking tire recommendations. The wheels will be used primarily during the warmer months & probably see some wet road conditions. I was thinking of going with some Falken Ziex 512s but was unsure of sizes because of possible clearance issues with the 1" drop. I'd also like a tire with substantial rubber to protect the wheel. The car probably won't see any autc-xing or track days though I consider myself one who enjoys spirited driving.
