I have a 1989 Civc HB with a slow pos 1.5. I used to have a 93 Accord with the 2.2 in it and I think it would move my lil Civic a hella lot better than the 1.5. So, is there any problems with putting that motor in my Civic. Other than the engine, tranny, wiring harness, computer and etc...is there anything else that I need or anything major that I will run into?? I plan to have it proffessionally installed by a trusted shop, but I will have to supply all the materials. If anybody can help me out and tell me what I might need to do this, please tell me. Thanks!!

 

you would be better off dropping in an ls motor, or a b16a

 

serach the h22 swap in this forum and i think but am not positive that there is a how to link in the faq.

 

He had the F22B in the Accord, or the F22A I can't remember.

 

The f22 will be to tall for the civic. Look into the b16a swap.
