accord swappage
alright, ive thought about it, and im gonna buy a 94 4dr accord, since i cant find a 92-5 civic si anywhere around me. i wanna swap in a h22, and my question is, does anyone know what (about) itll cost to get someone to pull my motor, and install a motor that i provide? and does anyone know anywhere around dallas texas that swaps engines, or knows enough to do it correctly? ive heard about some bad swap stories.......i'd be buying a complete swap, ecu, tranny, shift linkage, axles, etc etc.......plmk thanks

Re: accord swappage (haloseven)
H22 in an accord should be real easy...like putting a B in a civic. All bolt in, and maybe a little wiring. Keep researching and do it yourself!

Re: accord swappage (HXMan)
Unfortunately not everyone has engine lifts, and/or all the tools necessary to do the swap themselves (hell I dont even have a garage or driveway to do it in), so maybe doing it himself is not the best idea. Check out Alamo Autosports, and Jo-Tech maybe they'll help. Any other shops guys?
