Pulling off front hubs: HELP!!
so I'm taking off the front hubs to have them replaced.
I was able to disconnect everything on the drivers side.
But now, I'm working on the passenger side, and the STEERING wheel bolt/ball joint wont budge and the upper control arm bolt/ball joint wont budge.
WTF. theyre both STUCK. I've tried hammering, using a jack, pulling, YELLING at it, threatening, jumping, punching, etc.
Any tips or ideas on getting the steering and upper control arm disconnected? Any cool trick?

i used a fork, got the steering joint off. but that upper control arm doesnt want to budge. i think im gonna have to remove the battery, take out the whole shock/spring assembly, and then take out the uca.
ya?

Rent yourself a "Tie Rod Lifter". You can get them at checker auto parts if you rent their 5pc front end service kit. Renting tools is free from there as long as you don't break them (deposit required), and they work great. You can also buy this tool on ebay for like $10 (look up "tie rod lifter"). It works great every single time, and won't damage any part of your balljoints (like forks, and pullers do).
