Weird electrical problem - - 95 cx
So far I've been lucky and haven't had any problems with my new hatch until now. Yesterday I got in my car pushed in the clutch cranked the key and accidentally released the clutch for a split second but immediately pushed it back down, this caused the safety switch on the clutch pedal to turn on/off/on in a fast sequence. Now the car is totally dead electronically with the key off. Here is the weird part If I turn the key forward one notch to the acc position my instrument cluster lights come on really dim and slowly get brighter but this is only after I turn my headlights on
If I don't turn my headlights on the car is dead in the acc position. When I try to crank over the dash lights go off and the solenoid clicks like there is not enough voltage to start the car.
I've checked every fuse under dash and hood all checked out ok. The battery has 13.6 volts sitting in the car. The only thing left I can think of is the main relay. Could his be my problem and is there anyway to test it?
Time to sift through wiring diagrams until I get a response on here
I'm totally lost here any ideas are greatly appreciated!

also jump starting the car does nothing I put my 100 AMP jump start charger on the battery and crnaked it over for about half a second before it fails again
with a volt meter make sure there is power at the fuel injectors. (yel/blk wires is ignition power) AND if you can hear the fuel pump when you first switch on the key. then the main relay is fine.
I'd bet you popped a ground wire by drawing so much power to the starter.

well after doing a load test on my battery I determined it was faulty so I replaced it and the car is running perfect now so hopefully the battery was my only problem but I'm keeping my eyes and ears open
