10w30 or 5w30 ?
ok i been using mobil1 full syn 10w30 and I just read my stock air box and it says I should use 5w30. If I start using 5w30 will it make any difference? or am I better off just sticking to 10w30. and also I live in socal san diego.

Yup, just use 10w30. If you look in the owners manual, it says that 5w30 is useable in all temperatures, while 10w30 is fine in places where it is above freezing all the time (like San Diego). 10w30 is thicker when cold (hence the 10), which is added protection if it doesn't get too cold. The 30w refers to the weight at operating temp, so 5w30 and 10w30 are roughly equivalent (except that M1 5w30 is more likely to shear down closer to a 20w oil when hot).
