Default Another power door lock question/keyless entry

Ok, for those that have installed a keyless entry system, how did you go about tapping the power door lock switch? the control unit and whatnot is in the door, so did you go through the door wiring harness? and that thing is a pain in the *** to get to.

any suggestions on how to tap switch wiring?

btw, 95 integra LS. thanks.

you can catch lock and unlock wires in driver kick panel behind cruise control module theres two gray plugs behind module the one thats bigger is the plug with lock and unlock. lock is black with white stripe unlock is black with red stripe.
