Default Car goes pisssssht at idle??

Sounds like pressure is being released. Idle seems to stutter after noise. Seem to happen after longer periods of idle. Appears to be random.

A/C turned on?

Is it the cooling fan kicking on because you have it sitting there idling?

Does it with A/C off. Fan is rigged, always on. Where should I look for a vacuum leak. Thanks for the responses!

My CRX sounded like darth-vader when I had my AEM cai on it. When I shut it off, it used to "woosh" as-well.
People would ask me all the time, what was under there b/c it was so noisy. Ended up selling it.

Dont know if that helps, but dont rule-out the intake noise b/c it isn't a short-ram.

might be ur manifold. or just let someone drive your car around for a bit, and you stand outside to listen maybe that might help out more.

My car does that too, but it's when i rev and release the throttle.

It does sound like a vacuum leak since it's having problems idling, go over your vacuum lines with WD40, a propane torch (not lit of course!), brake cleaner, etc. Your idle will raise when the leak is found.
