hey you guys I have these big doubt about doing a mini me to my d15b8 engine since I've heard rumors about the valves hitting the pistons since the pistons from the d15b8 engine don't have the 16 valves reliefs is this true or not?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

it depends on which year your d15 was produced. some time in 93 they started using the 16 valve relief pm3 pistons. i was surprised when i saw the pistons in my 94 cx for the first time. what year was your engine produced? it should have a stamp on the head. try a search, or visit d-series.org. youll get all kinds of ideas there. Ds are cheap get/build/destroy/replace and can be pretty bitchin.

mine is a 95 cx with the d15b8 engine.

 

I've heard that it depends on the year of the engine. I don't know if that's tru but if it is mine is a 95 so if anyone knows tell me please.

 

a 95 engine would have the 16v pistons.
