Is this good stuff??? New to the ITR world
I recently purchased a 2000 PY Type R from a friend of mine. I have included a list of all the mods/upgrades done to the car. The car is arriving in the next couple of weeks from California. Dyno says 215whp and 146wtq. Does all the stuff listed seem pretty good. Most if not all the upgrades came after 45K. Car currently has 52K on it. I paid 16200 USD including shipping, oil change and detail. I was told that the upgrades were around 15K USD. So is the price fair for a car with all the extras. He also is including almost all the stock parts. So perhaps I could sell some of those off? I look forward to discussing more about the car using this forum. Thanks in advance for your intelligent and gentle responses. I posted a picture of the front of the car... the actual car is featured on some website.

seems like a well put together car. assuming it runs well and everything is in working order, i'd say you got a good deal on the car.

Here???
Anyway.. Sounds like a nice caR that should be fun to drive. I know a few of those parts could be better but over all decent setup

Get a different header and exhaust.
Other than that, it would seem you got yourself a fine ride.
Welcome to H-T. Now lets see some pics.....

why? it is totally unneccessary for that setup.

The previous owner probably overpaid for that Comptech stuff, but it's decent.
215 WHP on a Dynojet (presumably) is a very healthy number for 5.5 PSI. Hondata is one of the good ways to tune a car, although can be difficult come emissions time.
Overall, sounds like a super bargain, congrats

Turbo. They make a lot more power than superchargers. Superchargers are nice and linear though.

NAAAWWW dude. Where'd you hear that, from Miss Information?
I ran slotted rotors on another street car for 6 years no issues. I still run crossdrilled rears on the ITR because I'm too lazy to change them.
Drilled = bad for anything where they'd heat up. too many places for cracks to form.
Slotted = Unnecessary but fine. Some people like them to keep glazing down on the brake pads themselves, but they wear brake pads faster *shrug*. Can't be machined, but who cares since Autozone Rotors are so cheap.
