THIS IS THE FRONT JACKING POINT & other stuff
No one can ask where it is agian. If they do, kill them, and then show them this. It's in the my tools section on S&M racing. I've also added some other random stuff, most notably AEM rear pads, also put in some ATE Super Blue.
Yes- and dont look for it in the middle on civics.. Honda wisely put it offset to the left hand side, meaning that when the driver side is just high enough to fit your jackstand under, the passenger side usually needs to go up another 5 inches. Go, Honda, Go!

...yours may not have quite so much salt on it
and for those with older 'tegs, you have to cut/hack/dremel off a piece of the splash guard so it doesn't slip off the jack. Ask me how I know...

i have a really steep driveway entrance, the car has stock rally height, so it never scrapes on the street....that jacking point is bitched up from being used so much
of course you can. But then you make the jacking point feel unloved. There's so many questions about this, i figured i'd take a pic while i had it up.

I use the tow hooks always, you can raise the car up higher.

After using the front jack point to raise the nose up, I put two jack stands under the side jack points right behind the front wheels. Then I move to the back of the car and use the rear tie-town hook to jack the rear, and put two jackstands under the side jack points right in front of the rear wheels. In order to do this right, your jack has to have a decent lifting height, especially for the rear.
Didn't someone even do a write-up on their website on how to jack the car up and put it on jack stands? It's been a while, though.
