Ok, I know that "the forum sponsors always have the best price on parts" but what about when you need your part as soon as possible? Price is of concern but Im equally (if not more) concerned with shipping time.

I live in south GA and I need a clutch before sat night (money race). I just want to know if you guys know who would be the BEST sponsor to order from.

Again, I need the clutch here by Fri so that I can race sat night( earlier would be even better). Have any of you had good experience with maybe a Fla based shop?

Skip the Race bro... You shouldn't rush this kind of ****, it just turns out to be a bigger headache.

Reschedule it for another week... At least give your clutch some time to break it. It will deffinately sound like you're making excuses here, but personally, I wouldn't want to risk it.

Just my advice.

I agree. Rushing **** will just cause problems. Take your time, do it right, give the clutch time to break in and such.

whoa there sparky. calm down. If you dnt like the post dnt open up the thread.

As far as getting a clutch to you ASAP why not go to some local speedshops? Depending on what stage clutch, and if you are brand specific, will determine how long it will take to get to you. if you want a stage 9000 clutch, chances that someone has one locally is none. but if you just want like a act stage 2 then that will be easier.

I just ordered my clutch from gripforce - great prices, but they were a day late on shipping. The reason I recommend them is because you can call them up and have them overnight it, and their phone ppl have been nice, in my experiences.

 

preeshiate it. as for the flaming goes,..... I didnt want to know who was the best in pricing, I wanted to know who would have the fastest shipping,...as far as I could see, I couldnt find any other threads that had the same subject.......as far as the race goes.....its a quick $200 FOR ME. That will pay for at least half of the new clutch.

Typically it's best not to keep things going allanonjj... Just some advice for future reference.

as for clutch go to adv auto they sell some pos stock spec clutch for $200

 

Your plan is MAJORLY flawed here bud, yea $200 towards the new clutch, but is that towards the clutch you buy before the race or next week after you burn the **** out of that one during the race? Unless you know of some place that has rush hour traffic for 500 miles.......I would just get a clutch and have that race some other day.

That was gonna be my next out burst at you...... Thank god you aren't in SoCal otherwise I would be stuck in the house all day saturday.

 

breakingn in the clutch could make ALL that difference? cant he install it sat morning be done before noon, and drive all day until the race to break it in?...does engaging at high rpms help?
