Default Need advice from the pros : removing odor

ok, well to start this off i bought my beater (97 subaru wagon) with a stench, like really bad stench. smelled like alot of animals **** everywhere. i used NUMEROUS products to try and get rid of it, those just seemes to make it somewhat worse. I notice it was really concentrated in the front seats, so i found some leathers on ebay, and junked the cloth. I've had the car steam cleaned at a car wash location, and the smell went away, for about 2 days, then it came back.

what i need to know:

what products destroy odors?? I need some serious highgrade ****, or anyone know a place that can guarentee the odors removed, in the NYC/ Metro area?

I have used pet odor remover, febreeze, air sponge's, numerous air fresheners, 10k of those little trees, and the renuzit air fresheners. i've even gotten so i just keep a can of axe in the car

any help is much appreciated..

Jason

If the smell was covered up and then came back, maybe there is a dead animal that crawled in your dash!?

thats what i thought originally, and i brought it to the dealership, had them take out the heaterbox and clean the entire assembly... the smell lessened up and he said that he found reminants of a mouse nest in there, but no mice. i have also take everything but the dash out of the car and aired it out for a day, i also personally took the leaves and other crap out of the a/c housing, and there was nothing in there.

Sounds just like that episode of Seinfeld where it was impossible to get rid of the odor. The only guaranteed way I can think of is to remove the entire interior and thoroughly clean each piece individually.
