if thats the real jdm DC5 sterring wheel i've seen them on ebay for as much as 500 if thats an oem civic si wheel with a red honda sticker on it no more than 300

 

they actually make a red honda sticker for the air bags? where have i been? anyone know where i can get one of those? oh yeah sorry to jack your thread.

not sure where to actually purchase them, but stickers generally look like crap and peel off eventually.

 

The sticker actually isn't that bad. It's high quality vinyl and mine hasn't peeled or faded yet. You can get them here: http://ep3decals.blogspot.com/

 

my friend has had one for 2 years on his ep3 steering wheel and its not commin off. its good quality. you can barely tell the diff between his and my friends DC5

you dont have a pic, do you? maybe all the ones ive seen have just been done poorly or something.

There is no red Honda Sticker on the wheel. It is from a 2004 UK Civic Type-R. The wheel also have red stiches you can see on the pictures.

This isn't a real JDM ITR or CTR Steering wheel. It's a real JDM Airbag but it's a USDM EP3 SI steering wheel. Why you ask. It's because the JDM steering has MOMO on the middle bottom of the wheel.

word. i was about to say the same thing. no momo means its not the legit real deal.

Yes, and the red stitching is different between the Si EP3 and CTR EP3 wheels.

Si EP3 = baseball stitched
CTR EP3 = parallel stitched

 

Dont know but here in germany every Civic Type-R has this wheel inside.

 

Sounds legit to me.

After spending some time on the CTR UK owners site, it seems like most of the UKDM have single-stitched, no Momo, red-H wheels.

Maybe it's just the 30AE UKDM and all the JDM models with the Momo wheels?

Right, only UKDM and EUDM 30AE models and the JDM models get the Momo wheels.

 

You gotta be one hardcore JDMer to be willing to shell out the bucks for the real deal. Honestly, given the actual differences between the JDM and USDM steering wheels (as described above), I'll just stick with the stock one + 10 bucks for a red H sticker that's good quality. I don't care that it's only single stitched. Oh, and while it may not say "Momo", it still IS Momo.
