Installed Si rear bar on DX, have question
Ok, I searched but didn't get the answer I was looking for.
I was able to use the factory holes for the brackets that mount to the body, then I put the bar on and the end links, if I put them vertical, about about 3/4"-1" away from the LCA.
My plan was to drill a hole in the DX rear LCA and mount the end link on there, but if I mount it direct the end link is at a weird angle.
Should there be a spacer between the LCA and the end link? It looks like if I take a 3/4" metal spacer and put it between the end link and lca it would be ok..
Any thoughts?
Ideally I should use the Si LCA I'm sure but didn't think this would be that off.

yeah, if you drill the holes and use spacers it should be better than nothing, and i don't feel like measuring (sorry) but, yes, i believe the space is just under a 3/4 inch, it doesn't have to be too exact as it flexes back and forth, anyway.
