hey there. i have a 2000 Civic EX and i was wondering if you guys could help me with something. recently my car has been making an occasional grinding type noise. i cant exactly tell where its coming from, but it seems to be from the stock pulleys or wutever. they also seem to be moving slightly side to side as well. i dont know if thats normal cuz i never really looked at em til now. the cars performance and drivability hasnt been affected, but that noise cant be good. any thoughts on wut it might be, and also suggestions how to fix it (if theres something broken) thanx for any help.

maybe an alternator bearing... mine is making kind of a dry grainy sound when the engine is under a load... no big deal just annoying if you know the sound is there... no one else notices it
