my car runs fine when i first start it up untill it gets really hot... just installed new MSD ignition and compression check is 215 215 190 215 and leak down ran 4. when it gets hot the car climbs RPMS pretty slowly and you can sorta feel it cut out a little bit but not too much to hear it...but anyone got any ideas where to start checking? car also gets pretty hot standing still and you have to turn heater on for the car to cool down also ... i dont know if that conflicts with my sluggish or not..anyways thanks

 

Yes an overheating car will hurt performance, fix the overheating issue. And I hope you are not like your avitar, a lazy jackass. j/k

Did you check your thermostat, or maybe the cooling system wasnt bleed properly the last time you filled ur radiator w/ coolant.

What kinda setup are you running, maybe its time for a bigger radiator

I hate summer and all the heat related car problems that come with it
