whats a good price for used Red recardo seats with seat rails?

 

Which Recaro's? The JDM ones? I usually see those for $1500-2000 depending on their condition, and around $3000-3500 brand new.

jdm seat should b no more than $1800 in good condition..i believe the usdm seats are like$500 each seat brand new..i mean whateva u like..i c a lot of people buy the usdm seats..i mean who really cares if ur not in any jdm car shows...

 

I have seen a lot of messed up JDM recaros lately, probably because they are aging. (since 1996). Expect the prices to go up because it will be harder to find them in very good condition. If you see them in good condition for $1800, dont hesitate to get them.

Try $1500 each new.

Used pairs go for $700-$800.

 

Obviously no rips, stains, loose threads, or wear. side bolsters not wrinkled from folding the seats excessively. Not dirty from oil stains (Im surprised how many come with oil stains, I guess they use the seats as cushions for the motors that they ship over)

But the alcantra should feel soft (kind of fuzzy), not matted down. Also look at the center fabric for snags and if the material is shiny and not dull. Push down on the seat and make sure it is still firm. Check the belt guides for wear.

Basically very good condition is almost new, takeoffs.

 

All the USDM Recaro SRDs I have seen go for new $500-$650 without sliders/rails ($150-$200 each extra). I dont know where you seen them cost so much.

JDM Type R Recaro go for about new $1800/each without seat rails ($250 each) not including shipping, taxes, customs.

 

The original post said nothing about Recaros - it said USDM seats, which normally refer to the stock USDM Type-R seats. Which are indeed $1500 each.

 

RECARDOS??! I think those are the ones made of Corinthian leather.
