I was in SD for the socal crxpo meet...

Aight folks, so Peter (nikozai) and I each had basically dislocated vertebra, but we are straight now, and are feeling a tad better.

So I was exiting hwy 101 off a 55mph off ramp in LA. My cousin and I were going to his friends house. My cousin in his TL-S. It was all the sudden stopped right under the hard left turn. I saw my cousin skid to a halt, and I believe he hit the bmw right in front of him. I was next, YAY... right in the ***. There was a fatal accident there the day before, so the oil on the ground didn’t help with the traction. We hit hard!! It hurt Peter and I's backs , we basically hit a wall dead on. The person behind be swerved out of the way, and the one behind him broke just in time.

My cousin was taken to the hospital to treat his eye that slammed the steering wheel. My car was towed to the nearby towing company. I rented a uhaul/trailer in the morning, and peter and i drove back to Monterey. In the morning we took the parts off, and cleaned the acid off the tranny to save it.

The engine is cool, but the f**kups at the towing place dented the f**k out of my muffler, and jacked my oil pan! Bastards!! That was after I said it was a 5,000 dollar engine, and to be safe with it! The frame is bent, there is a gap over my door, and the door wont shut right. The welds over the shock tower are also broke, and bent up!

We left early from monterey, and took care of about 10 orders from the weekend!! Hectic day!! I then had to help my roommate move out of our place because I so conveniently had a uhaul. That puts me here, I can honestly say that I have not showered in 2 days, HAHAHA

WOW, this sux!

OK, the good news, I have been thinking on what I want to do. Here is the plan. Noah is the coolest dude ever! He is giving me his 85 si this weekend. I plan on gettin in runnin good, and drivin it around for a little until I find a new chassis.

The new car, I want a lighter one, hopin for a 88-89 hf. Thad be hot! Then, the insurance might kick me down a little for the mint shape my car was in, and the gsr engine. They will let me buy it back, and I hope to sell the gsr, and get a k20-r engine. I can get free sir front, and I hope to paint it that Grey CRX VTEC SIR color, as well as getting some rota circuit 8's.

How does that sound guys?? Ill still be in the crew, no worries.


Oh ya, I was soooooo frikin sad, I was almost in tears seeing my baby in that shape, it was horrible, I hope nobody has to feel that way.... ever.... it was like seeing my child slowly drowning, and and not being able to help. It f**kin sucked!!

i know the feeling man, i lost my beautifully done crx on my way to a clubsi meet last year. i'll spend a lifetime looking for a car to replace the feel that my crx had.

 

Hey sorry about your loss. Hopefully the insurance will pay off.

By the way, If you have an 88-91 CRX, and you still have it, could I buy your doors off of you? I have a 1990 CRX and I'm in need of new doors and bumpers/fenders. Your doors are the same color as mine and I need two new ones. If you'll sell them, let me know how much you'll sell them for and we'll work something out.

DAMN!!! sorry to hear about your guys accident. When I read the title I thought that another CRX got stolen, but it turns out it's a lot worse. Anyways, good luck on all of your guys recovery.

That sucks, man. Really sorry to hear about the car, but glad to hear that you're (for the most part) ok. I just saw the car at CRXpo this past weekend also!!

I'm sure you'll have bigger and better things headed our way soon.

i hate that ******* part of the 101 that stupid ******* tunnel specialy if your exiting in that road where it goes to the union station. cause once you get out of the tunnel it curves and you dont realy see the on coming people merging to the freeway..

 

i hope you're not directing that negatively to me.

All I want to do is but one of his wrecked parts in order to help him with his K20. I myself wanted to put a k20a2 in my CRX but realized that I won't have the funds for it in the next 2-3 years.

 

Seeing your car smashed sucks...seeing one of our own smashed sucks even more! Glad to hear you and your cousin are ok cuz that's all that really matters. You'll find another CRX to work on.

Ouch, glad to hear that you are okay, sorry to hear about the loss of the CRX... My CRX crashed in Julian on the Sunday part of CRXPo, but it wasn't as bad as yours. Good luck with the new project...

 

man that blows. i know the feeling though, remember seeing my first car (95 mazda 626=my baby &lt;3) completely totaled on the side of the road...hurts a lot. good luck with the next one though, ka will be sick
