what kind of gains can i look for in a skunk 2 intake manifold

Do you have cams? If so I would get one, and if not.......Get cams then a mani. Just my 2 cents.

I had a Skunk2 IM on my stock GSR for a while and it really made a bit difference when mated with a header and exhaust as well. It made an even bigger difference when I dropped the Skunk2 ST1 cams in as well.

Stop Lego Building and build a package, think of the "whole package" not just gains, not just add parts on top of another...

well i just got my skunk2 intake mani in the mail today i put it on and had an air leak somewhere so i put my stock one back on and it did the same thing u can hear it .. i think its around the gasket but anyways ive heard if you just bolt it on you will actually lose power unless u get a vafc my setup is 97 DX with a JDM B16a AEM V2 FPR skunk2 exhaust fuel rail cam gears pulleys and a 12lb fly if that helps any

When my friend started his GSR project He used stock head, Crower 402a's, stock mani. He ran 8.80's at about 80 mph. Not bad at all.
