YOU NEVER SOLDER WIRE TO A SPEAKER.YOU WILL AUTOMATICLY VOID THE WARRENTY ON YOUR SUBWOOFER.JUST GO TO A LOCAL STEREO SHOP AND GET THE COPPER ONESIF THEY ARE WHAT YOU WANT .YOU MAY HAVE TO GO TO 2 OR 3 SHOPS,BUT ONE HAS TO HAVE THEM.BUT YOU WILL NOT HEAR ANY DIFFERENCE IN SOUND IF YOU USE THE STEEL ONES. GOOD LUCK

We solder the speaker wire to all sub-woofers that do not have "cinch" term. and to all speakers when we run aftermarket speaker wire, and in over 30 years of installing I have never had a speaker co. void warranty because the speaker wires were soldered on, not once.
