i have an odd problem with the way my clutch is adjusted.
i know where the adjuster screw is in the engine bay where it hooks onto the arm on the tranny and i know how to adjust that....but.

sometimes when i have the car in gear and with the clutch all the way in it will be hard to take out of gear or put in gear, and then i slam my foot to the floor and i can usually engage the clutch enough to get it in gear, but i cannot adjust the adjuster any further because my clutch doesn't fully catch until the petal is fully released.

summary, my clutch doesn't fully release when i have the clutch in and it doesn't depress until the petal is almost let all the way out.

does this sound like its a clutch alignment issue?
i mean, it holds power very well and i can shift easily and everything but its just really horribly adjusted.
