95 LS, bogs down hideously at high RPM?
It has been doing this for about two weeks now. I can take off out of first, let off throttle, depress clutch (6300rpm), release clutch{{{car basically shuts down}}}, let off throttle, everything is fine. Throttle to floor immediately afterwards, will sometimes make it hesitate horribly. Sometimes with throttle depressed, will get right back on it, jerking me around. It doesn't happen every shift, probably on a ten mile trip it will do it 4 or 5 times. CEL doesn't come on. Thought it was FPR, took it off, and replaced, no difference. Found that #1 plug wire was loose on dizzy side, put it on securely, and it was a lot better, didn't do it for a good 45 minutes of driving. Then, I hit a big dip in the road, and it started doing it again. Checked wires, and none of them are loose. Plugs were replaced about 1000 miles ago, wires same time, none of this helped. Ispection of cap/rotor, all looks good. Wires to MSD still secure, and making good connection. I had put Conoco 87 gas in it, so emptied tank and put in Exxon 93 octane, and it seemed to be much better. Thought it was fuel problem, but pressure is good, filter is new, and FPR replaced. The fact that it was fine, then when i hit a bump it started immediately... Wiring???
