AEBS manifold, Bracket modding?
Well i noticed my AEBS IM causes the manifold bracket to not line up with the holes in the block, so i had to drill new holes about a half inch higher in the bracket.
Also, i plan on using the bracket, aluminum isn't good at dealing with fatigue, the manifold it heavy at the plenum, plus the throttle body weight, i don't want it cracking at the flange. I am very sure i want the extra support from the bracket, it is similar to those who run big "T" fittings in their block oil port, and then it breaks, so...
ARE YOU GUYS USING OR NOT USING THE BRACKET?

Hard to change your oil filter with it, the oem mani is heavy, you wont have any problems with the lightweight aebs.

. Have you ever seen those oil distribution "T's" that break off because their weight and the vibration and gyration of the engine.
