Default Nitrous question in 2002 civic si?

Is it safe to run a dry zex 55 shot of nitrous on a k20a3 without any fuel additives?

Not really.

Whenever you add more oxygen (which is what you do with NOS + cooling the charge) then you need to have the ability to add more fuel too. That means you either need a wet kit, or you need K-Pro which has the ability to add extra fuel with the NOS.

Venom has a dry kit for our car, but they are the ONLY company that does. The Si has a returnless fuel system thus, no dry shot. Wet shot only (unless you have Hondata or something like that). Do a search, I'm sure there's more info out there.

Just get the wet shot, no need to upgrade if you want a bigger jet size for higher shot. But using cold plugs is a must.
And above posters:It's nitrous not NOS --- NOS is a brand, it does not mean nitrous oxide.

And it's a "photocopy" not a "Xerox"

a "cotton swab" not a "Q-tip"

a "portable tape player" not a "walkman"

a "carbonated cola soda pop" not a "coke"

LOL.

Check out the force induction forum. As for mpo NOS is ok if done right but your engine is gonna suffer if not moded

Yeah, forgot about the plugs. Just go to autozone and ask for the RSX-S plugs. They are one step colder.
