im wondering if any performance mods or any thing i can do to get some horse power out of this motor because i want to stick with the v6 for my accord i dont want a 4 cyl in my accord.

intake, exhaust, port the throttle body, but that is it
that motor has nothing available on the aftermarket
you can NOS it, but it cant handle it

not real sure why you say that it can't handle nitrous...it's a pretty solid motor...if you use nitrous the correct way (wet kit) you should be ok...

as far as external mods go, there isnt much aftermarket support for those motors...intake and exhaust would pretty much be it...anything else will most likely end up being a custom job...

 

i had an 88 Legend with the same motor, and was in a club with legends called Legend.org
anyway, i knew a guy that sprayed 50 shot, and eventually blew the motherfuck out of his motor, i mean sprayed oil and metal everywhere, it was crazy

 

I'm not sure about the engine itself but I know the auto tranny probably can't take much extra abuse.

As far as aftermarket support you are pretty screwed. Sorry.

 

As far as reliable in a stock form its so-so. Once you start moding it it doesn't respond to well to mods. Coupled with the auto tranny its a no win situation.
