WORD, or just take good care of that one and save up for a swap or atleast a newer complete Z6 motor

Boost it...i have mine boosted with 150,000 and been running strong now for 6500 miles...and in that time ive been driving at 7psi and have a built z6 almost ready to go in...so BOOST IT.

the difference is, you have a motor waiting to go in once your stock one dies. I'm pretty sure the original poster doesn't. So, i'd rather have a new reliable motor and save up for turbo, rather than run the risk of blowing my motor and not having a ride

I have a Boosted D15B7 Mini Me,
Dont boost it,
The problem with our D15s is the rods,
My d15 is built so it can handel a little bit of boost, but still sucks ***...
The Rods are like tooth pics and the Cylinder is this as hell..
Save i promise, i know you want the power right away but just get a D16
Or an Old B16 For that matter. If your in the So Cal Area i can find you an eninge cheap!

i say boost it, all single cam rods are small and can be swapped out for some stock ls rods(with a little help from a machine shop) or some eagle rods. Single cam motors are a dime a dozen, boost yours, buy another motor and have it ready to put in if yours blows up. I boosted my d15b7 and that had about 150xxx on it and blew it up, i was running 12psi and tryed to blow it just to see my limits. Swap it out for another one and ran 8-9psi and had no probs, and i only spent about 700 bucks on my kit
