ac on= no power....alternator prob?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
while driving w/ a/c on i seem to have a lot less power...i know it will suck some hp but it seems like a lot

Any vehicle with the A/C on will have a loss of power. The engine is now turning something else.

i know but it feels like it draws a lot of power and then it starts to jerk a little

turn it off when you accelerate. most n/a 4 cylinders have this problem because of the low torque output.

Yeah, I have trouble keeping my car at speed on the highway when the AC is on.
