Hey guys, my exhause blows some black smoke which is too be wxpected, but i was wondering if the tube seals would allow oil unto the cylinders, making it look worse than is really is. I know the seals are bad and thats my weekend project to replace them.

I dont think replaceing the spark plug gaskets on the valve cover will fix the black smoke thing, but its good to replace them anyway if you're getting oil in the plug tubes.

 

yeah when i pulled the plugs when i was replacing the timing belt they had oil all over them which made me immediately think holy **** my engine is blown, I just didnt know if it could be contributing the the smoke problem, I'll do a compression test tomorrow and see how it goes
