turbo installed, car wont start
I just put a turbo on my 91 civic with b16. I converted it to obd1 in the process, so there is too many questions and not enough solutions to trouble shoot. I bought an obd0-1 jumper, chipped p28, and a obd1 dizzy that was coverted to obd0 plugs.
It turns over fine...i smell gas, but it wont fire. I'm gonna go check for spark now. I'm afraid that maybe i got a bum distributor but i just wanted to make sure there wasnt anything else i was overlooking. Charge pipes arent hooked up, theres no o2 sensor, no downpipe. NOne of this which would affect the car starting.
Anything else i should look ?

Yup, the gear is offset to match the cam. I would recheck your wiring, especially at the distributor...make sure everything matches up.

I really cant check the wiring. I bought a jdm concepts conversion harness, but all the wires on it are black. I bought an obd1 dizzy with obd0 plugs already on it. The big round obd1 plug has all black wires and one yellow. REAlly no way i can go back to check all the wires by color matching.

Is there any special reason you have to run obd1 RIGHT at this instant? Im thinking yor concerned about tuning probably but you might have to just hold off on the obd1 untill you get a legit dizz
